Siddaganga Medical College and Research Institute (SMCRI) is a relatively new college in Tumkur Karnataka and commenced operations in 2022. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and has recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC). It is strategically situated 65 km from Bengaluru City and is easily accessible by road, rail, and air.

Infrastructure and Facilities

SMCRI provides modern infrastructure to cater to the needs of the students and enhance their educational enrichment. The college is equipped with air-conditioned lecture theaters that can seat 150 to 200 students, thus encouraging group discussions which are interactive and focused. The college has other specialized programs including that of B.Sc. in Echo Cardiology and technology of cardiology.

The MBBS course admissions are carried out through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) in order to facilitate facilitate admission through the NEET UG examination.
