“Ms. Ramaiyah Dental College” which is currently known as Faculty of Dental Sciences of M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, is the premier dental educational institution in Karnataka. Since its inception in 1991, this esteemed institution has progressively developed itself into a complete unit in the provision of dental education by having Orthodontics Practice and Dental Clininc. The college of Mysore has established a name and has maintained a position in the list of top dental colleges in India. Recently, the institution of M S Ramaiah University of Ramedical Technologies was ranked 11 by India Today MDRA Survey and 4th best position in the ranking by ICARE out of all the private dental colleges in India.

The Faculty of Dental Sciences is well-endowed with facilities and a complement of 83 members of the faculty who have adequate experience and expertise to teach and practice. The pedagogy of learning practiced at the college is activity oriented and is expected to give the clinicians the necessary competencies for today’s dental practice. In addition, the dental hospital attached gives invaluable clinical exposure to the students, who serve the community while practicing their clinical skills.
