The affiliated teaching hospital, SUM Hospital is one of the huge hospitals located in the state of Odisha, its capacity is 1750 beds. It specializes in both general and higher level medical attention, among which intensive care units and largest in the state NICU are included, besides a multitude of specialties, which include; neurosurgery, haemato oncology, pediatric and plastic surgery, urology, oncological surgery, surgical gastroenterology, endocrinology, rheumatology, cardiology, neurology, nephrology, and neonatology.

Laboratory and Diagnostic Services

The Centre is well equipped with laboratory and diagnostic equipment, including clinical biochemistry, microbiology, serology, pathology, cytopathology, complexity, toxicology, blood transfusion, and others.
