The Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), situated in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, is one of India's premier medical institutions. Established in 1960, the institute was originally named Rajendra Medical College and Hospital, in honor of Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Additionally, RIMS houses a dental college with an annual intake of 50 students and offers a variety of nursing courses, including BSc Nursing and Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
